How many of you have heard this? And how many of you think something like 'Well, if you don't try, you won't get any better!'
I really don't get it. I don't get how people don't even try things they aren't good at. That's how you get better. That's why I do art trades with people, because practice makes perfect, even if the result isn't perfect. You learned something from it, and that's what really counts. And I learn too, so I do them for that reason as well. Does matter if what I get in return for my work isn't as good as mine, it's all a learning experience.
Every stroke is more experience for you. Get a trade to draw something you're not used to drawing? Never drawn before? That's more experience. Put effort into learning how to draw the subject and whatever else new you want to put into the art.
That and I do my best work for others. Stuff I do for myself turns out bad. I do things for others, even if they aren't real.
Like all my Bree Aileagh deviations are for Bree Aileagh himself, in my head. Crazy? Maybe.
Kurruc was for Kurruc himself, and Jay and Jelly and such.
The fennec fox lineart was for all of you on Deviantart to color and use. No one seems to want to use it yet...
Anyway, just felt like venting and letting my ADD mind loose to lose itself in what I was trying to say here, which I can barely remember anyway, even though it's right up there ^. I'm too lazy to look. Pft, I'm too lazy to do anything right now. At all. Cept write and stuff.
Kay, I'mma stop before I kill you all of wandering thoughts and boredom.
